NEXITO INDICATOR DESK

Use indicators as measurement tools, not trading commands

Every indicator compresses part of price behavior and, in doing so, discards information. Before using one, define what it measures, which inputs drive it, where lag appears and under which conditions the reading can become misleading.

ROLE → INPUT → CONTEXT → LIMIT

Four questions before trusting an indicator

Instead of searching for a magic setting, define the tool's role inside the analysis process. An indicator reading becomes meaningful only when its input, market context and limitations are explicit.

01

What does it measure?

Define whether the output describes trend, momentum, volatility, volume or another market property.

02

What are the inputs and lag?

Lookback length, price source and smoothing can materially change sensitivity and delay.

03

Which regime suits it?

A tool may behave differently across trends, ranges, high volatility and thin liquidity.

04

What confirms or rejects it?

Place the reading beside price structure, data and risk rules instead of treating it as an independent decision.

Published indicator guides

Read each guide to understand the tool's logic, settings and limitations. An indicator output without market context and risk management is not a sufficient decision basis on its own.

An analytical tool becomes more useful when education, market context, strategy rules and explicit risk controls sit around it.
